- In February 2010, Lorraine Gershun, vice president of the club, was quoted in a voice of Kapolei article about the wine-tasting fundraiser called "An Evening at Lanikuhonua."
- In Midweek's January 2010 Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii column, new member Dion Dizon was featured as chairwoman of the 2010 Ko Olina Taste at Kapolei. She has organized wellness events, training seminars and educational workshops for small businesses.
- In January 2010, new member Dion Dizon's appointment as chairwoman of the 2010 Ko Olina Taste at Kapolei was a featured article in the Voice of Kapolei. President-elect Marietta Bustamante was also quoted in the article.
- In December 2009, club President Dan Fullenwider was quoted in a West Oahu Islander article about Chief Justice Ronald Moon speaking at a joint meeting of six Rotary clubs from West Oahu. The Rotary Club of Kapolei hosted the meeting.
- In December 2009, club President Dan Fullenwider was quoted in a West Oahu Islander article about the mentorship program at Kapolei, Campbell, Waipahu and Nanukuli high schools.
- In December 2009, the club's foundation director, Kimo Bedford, was featured in the Voice of Kapolei for donating dictionaries to third-grade students at Holomua Elementary School.
- In September 2009, club administrator, Paula Ogimi, was featured in the Voice of Kapolei for promoting the silent auction that was part of the 10-year anniversary of the Ko Olina Taste at Kapolei.
- In September 2009, the club's President-elect Marietta Bustamante was featured in the Voice of Kapolei for hosting five professionals from Thailand and Cambodia who spent a month in Hawaii as part of a Group Study Exchange program.
- In August 2009, club President Dan Fullenwider was featured in the West Oahu Islander.
- In August 2009, club members Malia Schwartz and Sonya Mendez were featured in a photograph published in Midweek presenting a $2,000 scholarship to a Kapolei High School student who will be attending Chaminade University.
- In August 2009, club members Natasha Clarin and Dan Fullenwider were featured in a photograph published in the West Oahu Islander. The photograph illustrated the strong community support for the school-supplies drive held July 18-19.
- In August 2009, club members Sonya Mendez and Dan Fullenwider were featured in the Voice of Kapolei newspaper. Mendez was quoted in the monthly newspaper's cover story about the KoOlina Taste at Kapolei. Fullenwider was the focus of an article about the club electing him as its president for 2009-2010.
- In July 2009, club members Christina Enoka and Barbara Lum Lee appeared on the KHON-2 Morning News Show. In their live interview with host Kirk Mathews, they promoted the silent auction that will be held during the KoOlina Taste at Kapolei scheduled for September 12, 2009.
- In July 2009, club member Zachary Johnson was featured in a photo published by the West Oahu Islander, which illustrated a workshop at the Pet Depot in Ewa Beach.

- In June 2009, four club members were shown together in a Honolulu Advertiser photo with an article about the Kapolei Chamber of Commerce. Club members pictured were: Paula Ogimi; Lorraine Gershun; Barbara Lum Lee; Natasha Clarin and Harold Nedd.
- In June 2009, club member Stefanie Wilson was featured in a Honolulu Advertiser article about her winning a teaching excellence award at the University of Hawaii's campus in West Oahu, where she has been a business professor since 2006. She received a $1,000 cash prize and a letter of commendation for her achievement.
- In May 2009, club member Natasha Clarin was featured a Honolulu Advertiser article for winning the Presidential Service Award, which recognizes volunteers who show commitment and dedication to their community. Natasha coordinates community outreach projects for Ko Olina Resort & Marina, whose causes include sponsoring birthday parties for children at a homeless shelter in Waianae.
- In April 2009, club member Wilhelmina "Bili" Young was featured in a Honolulu Advertiser photo about the Nanakuli Community Foundation, a group made up of alumni of Nanakuli High and Intermediate School. The group held a garage sale to fund scholarships for students who are now attending area community colleges and need help with books and other supplies.
