The club has three major fund-raising projects for charitable causes. For a breakdown:
- The Ko Olina Taste at Kapolei is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Ko Olina Resort and Marina. The popular culinary event annually brings an estimated 1,500 people together to sample food, wine and beer form more than 20 of the top restaurants and chefts in the state. It has raised more than $1 million over the past 10 years for scholarships and academic programs at high schools in the region. For more information on Taste at Kapolei, click here
- An "Evening at Lanikuhonua" is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. March 13, 2010 at the Lanikuhonua in Ko Olina. The wine-tasting event annully attracts an estimated 300 people who walk around sampling an array of fine wine and premium beer amid a silent auction as well as live entertainment. The event annually raises an estimated $6,000 for international Rotary projects, ranging from eliminating polio abroad to attacking threats to water purity in countries such as Uganda. - The "Wheels in Paradise" will debut at noon Saturday, May 29, 2010 on Ford Island. The classic-car show will be a partnership with the Pacific Aviation Museum and the Navy Region Hawaii that is expected to feature at least 100 models from bygone eras as well as draw an estimated 3,000 people over the course of the Memorial Day weekend.
